The Tribe Motorcycle Club

	Welcome to The Tribe Motorcycle Club, a Washington DC area Motorcycle Club for Jewish riders. The Tribe MC is all about promotion, encouragement and growth of Jewish traditions and knowledge within the context of motorcycling and social activities. We have a number of rides, some organized well in advance and others more ad hoc. The Tribe is happy to announce that it has raised a total of $1,000 ($500 contributed by members and $500 matched by the Club) for the Jewish Social Service Agency program to help Holocaust survivors in the Washington Metro Area. Here are some of the notable upcoming events: Save the Date: June 21-23, 2012 - Baltimore Yehudim Riders - trek to Thunder in the Valley - Johnstown, PA Save the Date: May 31 - June 2, 2012 - Ride to Remember - Toronto, Canada Save the Date: June 24, 2012, 8:30 am - Colonial Beach Ride, Colonial Beach Virginia. There are 2 routes, one for the faster and one for the slower. We will meet up at the rest stop on the West side of Route 66 in Virginia (north of 234) at 9:30 am and ride the Colonial Beach for Lunch. The restaurant is the Riverboat on the Potomac. Look at theriverboat.net to check out the menu. It is not Kosher. After Lunch, the Maryland crew can go back 301 across the Harry Nice Bridge into Waldorf, Md. Save the Date: July 22: Annual BYR/Tribe picnic in Patapsco State park for all the families of both clubs.
